This position:

  • Assist in routine preventative maintenance activities of equipment and building.
  • Assist in the installation/repair of plumbing fixtures.
  • Patching, texturing, and painting walls.
  • Moving furniture, assembly, reconfiguring cubicles.
  • Service, clean and supply restrooms.
  • Stripping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing of floors.
  • Proper labeling, dilution, and use of chemicals.
  • Requisition necessary supplies and equipment required for cleaning and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain janitor closets, supplies, and janitorial equipment.
  • Additional or different functions may be assigned to the employee periodically.

Job Summary
The Clerical Assistant reports to Human Resources Manager and will be located in Camarillo, CA. This position will be responsible for supporting Compliance Manager and CFO.
Essential Functions

  • Prepares reports and presentations for various internal and external meetings and discreetly manages sensitive and confidential data where applicable.
  • Assists with the internal improvements to or creation of Johanson systems when necessary.
  • Performs electronic and hard copy file management to meet compliance regulations.
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Understands the internal departmental workflow and organization and coordinates with facilitates as necessary.
  • Works closely with various departments to ensure compliance on all necessary documentation and applicable written requests.
  • Provides timely feedback/support to various departments for queries to the compliance systems.

  • Has full responsibility for interpretive & applying general departmental policy & for establishing procedures.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency utilizing pivot tables and creating macros is a key requirement.

Job Summary
This Trainee for RF Applications Engineer position is located in our Camarillo, CA. This position is responsible for assisting our technical Applications Support team in providing responses to our customers, our outside sales team, and internal staff. As your knowledge grows, you may be asked to respond to customers directly and travel to customer sites. The Applications Support team assists development engineers at our customers on leading edge designs and presenting Johanson capabilities both 1-on-1 and to large groups of design engineers.
Johanson Technology (JTI) has thousands of customers around the world and we regularly work with the biggest names in electronics providing both niche specialized products and very high volume production.
The primary objectives are:
  • Provide Assistance to our technical staff enabling faster responses to customer requests.
  • To quickly learn and subsequently apply the knowledge on:
    • JTI’s product offering and the merits of each product family.
    • How the products are used in customer circuits.
    • The key performance metrics of each product and how these affect customer circuit performance.
    • The methods to perform testing of each of the key performance metrics for each of the product families (hands on bench testing).
    • Providing thorough, well thought out detailed responses to customer requests.

    • How JTI’s Applications Engineering works with Marketing developing product datasheets and collateral.
    • How Applications Engineering supports the factory and volume production.

Essential Functions
  • Gather test data on various pieces of equipment including Network Analyzers and Impedance Analyzers.
  • Summarize test data in consistent and meaningful formats.
  • Work with JTI’s personnel as required to analyze findings/results.
  • Provide customers with solutions to new and existing designs using Johanson’s complete line of products.
  • Cross Competitor part numbers to Johanson part numbers.
  • Provide environmental certifications in response to customer requests (e.g., RoHS and Reach certificates).
  • Work must be detail oriented that is thorough and comprehensive in scope.
  • Follow JTI’s company policies.
  • Additional or different functions may be assigned to the employee periodically.

This position has no supervisory responsibility / no direct report.
Responsibility for Confidentiality
This position requires confidentiality; the company has many Non-Disclosure Agreements with customers who require confidentiality and occasionally Applications Engineering will work with ITAR controlled documents. As such, US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a standard office environment and occasionally provides factory support. 20% of the time or more, Applications Engineers are traveling, both domestic and international, to visit customers. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers on a daily basis.
